Just received this beautiful bird yesterday. Love it. We just returned from East Coast and wanted something to remind me of it… this guy did it! But after reading more reviews I now am concerned there is a piece missing in the body of the bird and from looking back at the picture. Will be contacting them immediately. But absolutely love this bird!. Deann. Chandler, AZ. Sat Oct 23 2021

Hand-carved of solid albizia wood, this perched pelican is given a textured look with a washed finish in blue, it is a favorite among coastal and beach lovers.

Gave it a 5 star because the product itself is sturdy and a good size, with nice variations in the paint and wood. BUT this promo is a deceptive photo. These are medium brown, not anywhere near the off-white shown. (If you want an off-white see the Lecia Rustic Seagull, which I also purchased and it is true to color shown.) I've also shown the matching color sets with the 3 fish and sea gulls. All of these are a great coastal addition. You can see the Pelican is a big bird. They were all SO well packaged!!! Highly recommend this pelican, it is the best one offered on Wayfair IMO. It actually IS the color of the brown pelican. Just don't buy it if you want off-white or are willing to dab some white on it.. Anonymous. Sat Sep 28 2024

I get lots of compliments on my cranes. This is the second one I bought but kept putting it off due to the price being WAY overpriced for a stick with a plastic bird. It moves so well though that I finally gave in and happy I did. Only one is about $10 cheaper than the rest but that’s the one I bought last year. Was going to take a star off because of the price but didn’t want it to reflect on the product.. K. Rochester, NH. Fri Jul 24 2026
