It has a lot of storage space with drawers, cabinets, shelves, and a wine rack, so it works great as a bar cabinet, coffee station, or dining room piece. One thing to know before buying is that assembly takes time. There are a lot of pieces and parts to put together. My husband built it by himself, and it took him about two days to complete. The bar is really nice and the cabinets have far more room than I was expecting. It took a long time to put together, but the directions were clear and everything was labeled well. The biggest problem is that they cut one part wrong on the drawer (connector holes and cutout for base slide).
