Nothing compares to the soft light and rustic charm of a kerosene lantern. There is a reason that this product endures; it works! Our lantern is durable and simple, with a large glass globe and a fully adjustable wick.

I tried Keosene with bad results. The flame would not maintain a constant level. I switched to lamp oil and it's run like a champ ever since. This is not functional, though it does work. You can’t crank up the wick so you have to pull on the oil soaked wick which is messy and it only comes with about 2 inches of wick but doesn’t tell you what size wick to replace. You also have to use hot pads or over to unscrew the top to blow out the flame which is very impractical. It’s pretty but not efficient if you want to actually use it.. Ashley. Raleigh, NC.
