Had it for a year and sad the coloring is now a light yellow from the normal walking and we don't wear shoes in our home. We do have dogs. Love this rug!! We bought it in two sizes and are very happy with it. A couple of things to note however: 1) The "speckled" looming may not be even, so be prepared for that. We did have to exchange one rug out because the looming had one random large clump in only the brown colored thread so it looked like a mud stain. Wayfair exchanged it with no issues. 2) This is a wool rug, and after being wrapped in plastic and shipped it did smell like wet dog. It takes about 3-4 weeks to fully air it out. 3) Because of the knotted loom, you must be very careful when vacuuming it. Only use the highest pile setting so as to not allow any brushes/bristles to touch the rug or it will snag. and 4) Be prepared for your vacuum canister to fill up with lint completely at least through the first 3-4 times of vacuuming it. Amazing quality and beautiful design, however the “clay” color felt very pink in our space, which is not what we were going for. The ivory detail was very beautiful though; beware the ivory in this rug is more of a true light color ivory while the other color variations of this design have more yellow/cream accents.
