Hunter’s universal ceiling fan control is compatible with Hunter ceiling fans as well as other brands. Once the included remote receiver is installed into the fan’s canopy, the handheld control is already paired for easy, out-of-the-box use. Use this ceiling fan handheld remote to control the fan speed and light from anywhere in the room. The included wall cradle provides a convenient, central location for the remote when it’s not being used.

I ordered 2 of these ceiling fan controls, which arrived damage free, in a timely manner. It was easy to pop out the old controls and install these using my existing wiring. My only complaint is that these say ‘HUNTER’ across the front of the knob, which I didn’t notice in the photos. I would give these fans a 5 if not for the one thing that I’m fairly disappointed in. I bought one, loved it so much I bought a second fan and that’s where I’m having my difficulties. I’ll explain, I use Apple HomeKit in house I have about 30 devices all controlled with Siri. My first fan was easy to install has a great fit and finish, looks great works great with Siri with no complaints. So I ordered a second fan, went together fantastically also looks great, but integrating it into my Smart Home not so good. It will not let me add the second fan, it actually says your fan is already installed which it’s not. After Googling the issue it’s a know problem. I just wasn’t aware of this issue until after I purchased and installed the second fan. So I’m relegated to only using the remote control for that 2nd fan. I searched for the internet for several fans this color and size. I finally landed on this Hunter one. I loved everything about it. My husband installed it without any trouble. We absolutely love it. The light is the perfect color, not too yellow and not too white-like most LED lights can be. The only downside would be the remote. It only has up and down arrows and the remote does not have a holder for the wall. We tend to loose remotes easily in our household so that is a negative point for us. It was a perfect match for our ceiling fan that didn’t come with a light kit. It is light weight and all plastic. I guess my only complaint would be is that you can see 2 bright spots where the light bulbs are in the lamp, instead of one bright light (if you understand what I mean). This shade was a great replacement for the old, yellow one that broke. It features a soft, bright matte white finish. Although it comes with a cap equipped with two holes for pull chains, only the center chain is functional because the opening is too narrow to use the fan chain—at least for my model of fan.
