Originally named 'The Poet,' the piece was part of a commission by the Musee des Arts Decoratifs. This over two-foot-tall, stone-finished, quality designer resin statement piece will command instant attention in the gallery, spa bath, or garden.

sO CREATIVE....LOVE IT!. Anonymous. Newport Beach, CA. Tue May 12 2026

The outstretched arms sculpture is made of aluminum on a striated surface that brings one aspect of its design distinction: when the finish is rubbed onto its surface, it collects in the valleys to bring added patina to the gray sculpture. This lends it a textural feel that convinces the eye this is a vintage decorative accessory. In the foyer of a modern home filled with contemporary art, this decorative accessory will hold its own. We offer a number of sculptures in this family of decorative accessories. Each of these reflects the ethos that Phillips Collection personifies: modern organic.

When King Leonidas and the three hundred Spartan Hoplites under his command held off the Persian army at the Thermopylae pass, the courage and sacrifice of these Greek warriors entered into the realm of legend for evermore. This black porcelain sculpture depicts one of those brave soldiers equipped with his spectacular helmet with plumes, a mask that can be placed or removed to reveal the warrior's face thanks to a magnet system shield, lance, and armor. The wealth of detail, added to the decoration, the precisely modeled anatomy and the meticulous ornamentation demonstrate an extraordinary degree of virtuosity. Made in black porcelain and decorated with metallic copper, blue and black enamels. The shield is painted with black luster with a marble effect while the helmet is decorated with aged silver luster. The result is a striking and powerful figure that is at once noble and elegant.

The contemporary profile of the Lottie statue has a mid-century modern vibe. Made of composite in multiple choices of finishes sculpture, which has a ruddy surface that makes it appear as if it has been forged from hammered metal, was designed by Raymond Waite. Like a graceful sentry, Lottie will bring panache to any room it rules. We offer the sculpture in Gel Coat White, Roman Stone, and Bronze. Pair it with our Lloyd statue in the same finish. Focus on the details, it’s one of the many things you love about this. The crazy wire is modeled on vintage department store mannequins. It is made from metal wire and powder coated for durability.
