I got the sofa bed in beige faux leather with cherry legs. I have not tried sleeping on it, and it is quite solid to sit on, but it is nonetheless exactly what I needed. I wanted to convert my son's old room into a den/guestroom that could accommodate him on his infrequent visits home (a regular sofa might have made him feel unwelcome and displaced) or that could accommodate the occasional overnight guest without encouraging them to linger too long. This sofa is the perfect size to create a reading corner amidst a wall of books, while still providing reasonable sleeping accommodations for 1-2 guests. I am very pleased. I looked far and wide before finding anything in a pale beige faux leather (I am vegan and dislike large dark sofas). I am very happy with my chairs. The size and color are just as expected. I did order samples of upholstery, which I highly recommend. By doing so, as seen in the photos, I was able to match very closely with my footstools. The seaming is beautifully done. HOWEVER, the reason for my four stars, is that the seat cushion extends several inches over the edge of the chair as seen in the photo. I’m quite sure this will affect how the seat wears over time.. The seat part of the sofa is not hard but not soft. I would say medium to soft but this is understandable given it is a sofa bed and I am overall very impressed with its comfort. I ordered the deep seating version for my clients. I like the contemporary look and bench style seat cushion (no one will get stuck sitting in the cushion cracks). We just got this sofa sleeper a week ago for our rental space. We were looking for something very sturdy and easy to covert with a nice thick mattress. This checks all 3 of those boxes. Honestly, the style isn’t as modern as I wanted but all the modern sofa sleepers are not made of solid wood and haven’t been as durable.
