Hqt Handmade Home Design Glass

These Plates are an ideal way to express unique style and taste. Each plate can be hung alone or in multiples with the included bracket. This plate is a combination of cool color, designed to complement any decor. A center of green gives way to a sunburst of amber that blends back into green. Its outside edge is rich azure blue, edged in black. Dual rings of red spots, outlined in green and black overlay the green and blue for a dazzling effect. Not just for walls, these plates can be displayed as a centerpiece on a dining or coffee table; this manufacturer's creativity is limited only by their imagination.

I purchased this 12”x12” bowl to be part of an art piece with other glass bowls, also from Wayfair. Our new home has a large inset in the dining room that’s unique for an art display. The previous owners had mounted framed photos, but I imagined the blown glass bowls. I chose other different bowl colors and sizes on the Wayfair site (all of which were accurate as depicted). Then, I cut circles from construction paper using the posted dimensions for each bowl to use as templates before I purchased all the bowls. I used tape to move them around until I found the color scheme and symmetry I liked. Then, I ordered the bowls. Mounting was not difficult, just a pencil, anchor bolts, a hand drill, and a partner who did all the mounting while I supervised! The most challenging part was the planning. We absolutely love the resulting art display.. Donna. Houston, TX. Sat May 10 2025

The elephant ambles forward, propelled by tension and its large mass - one can tell that it is a young elephant. It raises its head as if filling the vase on its back with water from its trunk. With a joyous smile, it walks toward success. Water is a symbol of fortune - where there is water, there is wealth. The elephant filling its trunk with water symbolizes the accumulation of fortune and luck. The image of an elephant with an uplifted trunk symbolizes dynamism and joy. Place this piece in the home to spread goodwill, happiness, and joy to all within.

This festive 12 flowers garden sculpture is a colorful addition to any room’s décor. The generously sized sculpture features a grouping of round floral plates. Each flower is mounted on a black metal stem of various heights on a matching rectangular base. A perfect centerpiece on a dining, coffee, or console table, flower garden sculpture also makes a wonderful gift for any occasion.

The vermillion bird represents the element fire, the color vermilion red, the southern direction, and summer. The Shan Hai Jing describes the phoenix as being born on Dan Mountain. Also called the Dan Phoenix. The phoenix also refers to one of exceptional talent and was born in a south-facing valley at the South Pole, and symbolizes talent and lofty aspirations. The vermillion bird is said to bring prosperity, progeny, and peace. Vermilion red is also a celebratory color in traditional Asian culture for weddings and new business openings. This piece is an ingenious juxtaposition of detail and sparseness, color and transparency, space and form. The vermillion bird appears like the blazing sun, distant yet near, forever shining, representing our deepest wishes. The nature of glass transports the light and presents a space for imagination to spark. Associated with the four quadrants of the vault of heaven is the Azure dragon of the East, the Vermillion bird of the South, the white tiger of the West, and the black tortoise of the North; in the center is the Qilin (unicorn). Each region corresponds to one of the five elements: Metal (west), wood (east), water (north), fire (south), and earth (center). Moving across the night sky, the stars connect all life to the five elements. When the universe and elements are aligned, harmony ensues.

The dual handles of this piece draw inspiration from a dragon motif hailing from the era of the Western Zhou Dynasty. This motif serves as a testament to the fusion of humility and self-discipline that characterizes a true gentleman, akin to the gentleness inherent in jade. Adorning the three legs, the taotie design exudes an aura of stability. Revered by our forebears, this motif intricately weaves together the attributes of diverse creatures, embodying tremendous fortitude. The expansive handles, akin to outstretched wings, symbolize not only a commanding presence but also an audacious spirit—an emblem of both thriving enterprise and prosperous fortunes. Her exquisite grace and beauty transcend time. Our Astral Handcrafted Art Glass Figurine is a lovely tall sculture. The sculpture begins with clear glass into which our artisans have hand blown a twisted blend of multiple shades of blue for a lovely splash of tranquil color. The sculpture stands on a solid square pedestal of clear glass for stability and contrast. The figure is hand blown using Favrile Art Glass, which was first developed by L.C. Tiffany in the late Nineteenth Century. The Favrile process embeds the color within the glass itself, which allows for subtle variations in tone and texture. This means that no 2 pieces are exactly alike and ensures that yours is a one-of-a-kind work of art. Perfect when displayed on a curio shelf or mantle, our Astral Handcrafted Art Glass Figurine makes a wonderful gift. The Favrile glass figure is sharply attired in an ankle length frock of brilliant cerulean blue and white. This gorgeous and heavy midcentury cobalt blue glass art candy dish with exquisite camel details and ornate texture.

Beautiful art glass vase with a unique hole cut straight through the middle. Amber and gray colored glass tubes are formed together in molten state to achieve the design.

Excellent quality overall. I was pleasantly surprised by how heavy and solid it feels, which gives it a premium impression. There was a minor blemish on the back, but it’s hardly noticeable and doesn’t affect the product’s appearance in any significant way. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase.. Robin. This clever Favrile art glass bowl features a mélange of colors, which ensures it will assimilate into any décor with ease. Green, white, blue, purple is blended into a riotous pattern on the deep and narrow base of the bowl. The colors spread to the freeform scalloped edge, bordered in an eye-catching red band. Because the Favrile process embeds the color within the glass itself, the colors and patterns are the same inside and out, making this a genuine one of a kind work of art.

Åsa Jungnelius' classic sculpture Mother of Pearl is now available as a smaller object in the Kosta Boda artist collection. Mother of pearl is uniquely shaped in hot glass and the color is poured into the scoop. The pattern is created individually by the mold. The crystal-clear pearl is hand-sculpted and the pieces are joined with heat in the hot shop at Kosta Glassworks.

This design depicts the dragon in natural repose as it winds around to form a taichi and conveys its power. The dragon’s head emerges with a persistent gaze as it safeguards the natural order in a way only it can command. Liuli absorbs and reflects light across varying sculptural depths and polished surfaces to convey the dragon’s internal power. The design as a whole is built upon Daoist philosophy: From taichi, two complementary forces are born; from two complementary forces, four aggregates are born; from four aggregates, eight trigrams are born. This is also symbolic of the dragon - a mythical beast that unites all with the power of the sun under the natural order. In the vast universe, the sun is the source of all life. The dragon nurtures and guides the world in harmonious coexistence.
