I guess I have a slightly older Kohler sink. It came with this really bad silicone bottom. I finally took the time to research the size and type to get the metal rack for the bottom of the sink. I was skeptical that I got the right one, but the measurement said that it fit. I’m incredibly happy that I got it because the silicone one was so gross. This is Kohler OEM style, so it’s exactly what you would think. It sits pretty flush in the sink itself. Perfect for my 32"sink! Replaces one that was made for the sink but is too big to fit in the dishwasher. If you have a sink grid or grids, believe me, they will get nasty quickly and hand washing a 32" x 15.375" grid is awkward. In addition, hand washing will not get it as clean as the dishwasher will. I did have to reverse flex/bend ever so slightly for all (6) posts to contact bottom of sink at same time and not rock.
