Very nice king size bed frame, but it has SO MANY PIECES.. it took us 4 hours to put this together. The drawers underneath are flimsy wire racks that have tiny plastic wheels underneath. This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. Decent bed. Feels sturdy enough I was able to put it together alone, but it took about 8 hours going at a slow pace with lots of breaks. Get a kneepad if you have one. Be sure to look at both sides of each piece immediately after you attach to make sure you have the right orientation. I found a backwards one twice and it was a considerable setback. The directions could be confusing at times, generally just sitting and staring at the parts for a bit or looking ahead to next few steps would made it clear. I'm giving it a 4 star review be use a received 3 unlabeled parts, luckily I could narrow them down. And because the pull out shelfs cannot be wheeled out , at least if you have carpet, and are a very tight fit. Photo attached shows why. The bottom of the shelf sides touches the ground and makes the wheels pointless. I will likely use them in the closet instead. The storage drawers are a little awkward to use. I struggle get the hook lined up and set in the slot to close them. Do not recommend if you have a bad back or mobility issues. The light is great if you like a bit of a night light.. M. Madison, WI. This is a great bed, easy to build, sturdy, and the color is lovely. Our youngest loves his new big boy bed. We love all the storage for a small room. We also appreciate the drawers being on casters so that it’s easy to move them out to vacuum under the bed. I have a few minor gripes: figuring out the placement of the slats was awkward (it has improved from an earlier version of a similar bed, where each slat had to be screwed in; this one is easier). It would help to have guide marks on the frame as to where the slats should go. When the bed is finished, screws on the headboard are visible above the pillow. I don’t know why they’re not facing the back of the headboard. Lastly, I wish there were a cover for the drawers so that the things stored inside don’t get easily dusty. I am extremely happy with this bed frame! It arrived well-packaged and all of the parts were clearly labeled, which made assembly much easier than I expected. While it did take some time to put together, the instructions were straightforward and everything fit together properly. The storage drawers are one of my favorite features. They slide smoothly and provide a surprising amount of extra storage space for blankets, sheets, seasonal clothing, and other items that would normally clutter up a bedroom. The built-in headboard shelving is also incredibly convenient for keeping everyday essentials within reach. The LED lighting adds a nice modern touch and creates a cozy atmosphere in the room, especially in the evenings. I also love the built-in charging station, which helps keep cords organized and makes charging devices overnight much more convenient. The frame feels sturdy and well-made once assembled, with no squeaking or wobbling. The dark wood finish looks even better in person and gives the room a clean, modern look. Overall, this bed combines style, storage, and functionality in one piece of furniture and has been a great addition to my bedroom.
