Kohut Bed is amazing. I absolutely love it. Was able to put it together myself. I am not very good normally -at putting anything together. It stunned me with how solid and sturdy it was. Feels so comfortable and most of all – like it was built to last a long time. I have three wonderful dachshunds and wanted a low to the ground bed – that was sturdy and attractive. Got it. I purchased 4 inch box springs and 8 inch awesome queen mattress. Put a dog play fence around it – and made small ramp. Wow – I am comfortable and happy and the dachshunds are in love with the new bed – and they are safe. Most people aren’t going to buy it for dachshunds. The platform design is excellent the slats are strong and evenly spaced, so I was able to ditch the box spring entirely. Assembly was straightforward (though two people definitely help with the headboard), and everything lined up perfectly. It looks high-end but didn’t break the bank. The bed is beautiful. It is difficult to put together because the instructions are very vague. It really needs guide holes on connecting the legs to the side boards bc the cut out on the side rail is larger than the leg and you have to slide it into the right place or it will be off.
