I was really curious how the hybrid down and polyester was going to work. I just hand fluffed these up, but you can put them in the dryer too. They were vacuumed packed. So as far as I can tell, the goose down is in the middle of the pillow, with the polyester on the outsides. They are really soft like alternative down pillows, but they are squishy like down pillows, which is what I like. I got the queen size. They have a nice trim on them and the cover is nice quality.
