The steam from the hooded portion is fine, almost like a smoke, however the nozzle sprayed the water a bit opposed to solely providing a mist. It didn’t come with an instruction manual per se, so I’m not sure if there’s a fix or if it’s a defect. Today isn’t wash day but I’m very excited to try it on my hair and give an update. Update: It turns out the product I was sent was a used product, which I found to be misleading since I understood myself to be purchasing a new product, however, since I noticed the scratches when I first opened the box, Wayfair gave me a credit. I did however have to do a bit of maintenance since the nanospray gun I previoulsy mentioned was backed up with calcification. I believe when I turned it on the first day and noticed that it was spraying water out instead of just the steam that it had a bit of calcification causing a backup. I'm not sure what the lifecycle of the product will be like since it was owned by someone else before and not well maintained before being returned.
