This is a beautiful piece of office furniture. Looks very good. Took about 3 hours to put together. If you are not good with reading instructions fully get help. It's somewhat strong, but I would only use it for hanging file folders. The bottoms of the draws are made with some sort of hardboard and the weight is not sufficient to hold much of anything else in my opinion. They are just slid into slots on the bottom. I would actually give this more of a 3.8 star. I put it together in about 3 1/2 hrs by myself. I had 1 piece that was cracked right down the middle and of course, it was a front piece so it is very noticeable. Very odd also because this piece was in the middle of the box surrounded by all the other pieces. Personally, I think it was cracked when putting the pieces in the box by the manufacturer. Anyway, it went together pretty easy. Not as easy as the desk but it wasn't horrible. I will say, the instructions are not near as accurate as the desk was. (Same manufacturer also). A couple pictures were labeled wrong and and some didn't show direction of panel so you have to look ahead in the steps to make sure you have it correct. Pretty slim material but when put together it is very sturdy. I will update review when I hear what manufacturer is going to do for the cracked piece.. Peter. Sun Jul 26 2026
