A famous cooking TV show and publication rated Tramontina next to the All Clad, which was a little over 3 times more than the Tramontina Signature. I decided that since I'm not a professional chef, or even aspiring to be, the Tramontina would suit me just fine. I had just donated all of my cast iron and porcelain coated cast iron and decided on the Tramontina. I had just donated my porcelain coated cast iron because of its weight and arthritis in my hands and wrists, so needed a replacement. A respected source I checked rated the Tramontina Signature next to the All Clad, which was a little over 3 time more. Seemed like the perfect choice for me as a home cook. Love love I’m surprised how thick it is and a nice weight not too heavy and not to large. I have all clad pans and this is a nice addition to an everyday pot . I bought it mainly to make rice bc of the width it’s hard to find pot that’s aren’t narrow for rice .This is perfect for it I haven’t made anything else in it yet just rice but seems it’ll be my got too for many dishes .
