This chest is absolutely stunning. It looks exactly like it is pictured online. The whole chest is solid, well made, and it is very heavy. The drawers are soft-close and can hold quite a bit, however the drawers are not particularly deep. The granite is beautiful and since this chest is so large there is quite a bit of granite surface area. I purchased this for my office but it would look beautiful in a bedroom as well. In fact, I kind of want the bedroom set after seeing this in person. I am so happy with this purchase. Update to original review. Wayfair took care of the issue immediately, and better than I expected. We now have a lateral file cabinet that has drawers that pull out easily, and no split wood on the front of the cabinet. No more struggling to get a drawer open. Thank you Wayfair! The top drawer is very difficult to pull out. The bottom drawers pulls out fine. I tried spraying silicone on the extension brackets on the side of the drawer, but it did not help. When I looked closer there is a small split in the wood that I am hoping their furniture doctor can fix. This piece of furniture for a $1000 was not worth the money considering the quality.. Debra. Very well built great quality. Little darker than we thought but still beautiful. One problem for us. It says no assembly however you do have to screw in the 5 legs, note one is a balance leg you can adjust In order to do this you have to lay the dresser on it’s back and this thing is very heavy. The legs screw in easy but good luck lifting this back up by yourself . The 5th leg is great for you can self balance the dresser. All in all a great beautiful dresser. My initial experience started well. It was a little nerve-wracking because it was a large purchase and we couldn't feel, touch, or look at it in person. The reviews were good and bad, but we made the sale, placing our faith in Wayfair. The set is gorgeous, the quality is excellent, and the wow factor is there. The problem was getting scheduled and rescheduled for delivery 5x before we finally received all the items in our order. We were told by the final delivery driver, a true angel on earth, that our delivery should’ve been flagged as needing more than 2 people to deliver the product because of its size and weight. Fortunately, “Isiah” went above and beyond to make it happen. He carefully measured, handled the set with care, and gave me options if it didn’t fit so I wasn’t stuck with a purchase that wouldn’t work in my home.
