This was just what I was looking for in actual marble - not ceramics or porcelain. The textured pieces along with the glossy prices (at least on the white carrara version of these tiles) were perfect for my shower floor as the textured tiles have great grip for wet barefeet =). Was very easy to layout - and make final cuts. If you are DIYing like me - take your time - I put on painters tape on the back mesh and face of the tile prior to making my cuts on the harbor freight tile saw. It was on the tape I made my measure marks and slowly made the cuts with little to no chipping - Thank youtube for all the tips! What you see is literally the tile just as I finished grouting and super happy with the results - should be finished with this little project in a few weeks as the shower glass is taking forever to deliver :(. This vinyl tile was perfect - just what I wanted, and arrived faster than the same tile at any other flooring websites I found. Plus, due to the free shipping, it was also much cheaper than any of the other sites too! I probably sound like a gushing paid reviewer haha but I’m truly not - I just research stuff A LOT (way more than I probably should time-wise ‍♀️) and am happy to pass on great deals I have used and liked! We hired guys who glued down the tiles beautifully - but note that these tiles are manufactured to have a large gap (3/16”) between the tiles when they are placed next to each other. So, you’ll need to caulk (not grout) between them, with some sort of sanded silicone grout (note that the caulk needs to be sanded, not smooth, so it stays as placed rather than slumping) One tip- I needed 7 boxes of these tiles, but putting 7 boxes into my cart changed the arrival date to 3 weeks away (instead of 1 week away when putting 6 or less boxes into my cart). I called Wayfair customer service, and the lady said 6 or fewer boxes would come more quickly since 7+ boxes would require its own shipping truck. So she recommended that place 2 orders that added up to 7 boxes; I did that (one order of 6 and another order of 1) and the tiles arrived in 1 week after all! I purchased 4 boxes to renovate my bathroom floor. The worst of it was removing the existing Lino/vinyl floor tiles. I was adding the new tiles as I was removing the old ones and it worked pretty wells. I had to use super glue in some corners to ensure the tiles were glued properly. It didn’t always stick sufficiently with the provided adhesive backing. Straight cuts are super easy, just score the tile 3 times and bend it. Of course it’s harder the smaller the piece you need to cut off sometimes. Some cuts were difficult (L shaped cuts) and I wasted a few tiles because they broke during the cut. But I was able to use the same tile for multiple cuts, so it worked out in the end. To cut around the toilet, drawing the curve and scoring it 3 times easily took care of the majority of it. Then I used a snipping tool at times when it was too tight. I used unsanded grout to finish, and it worked great for the most part. However there are micro movements on some tiles which causes the grout to pop out after less than a week, so I’m always vacuuming . So I might caulk those areas instead. Love this as an accent to the main wall in my new shower. Tile guy said it was HARD to work with because it’s very thin. So the glue filled the grout lines. Not SO HORRIBLE if you choose glue colored grout. But I wanted black, so he had to go through each piece and make sure there was room for the grout. Not sure I’d buy again. Love these tiles! I have purchased them in the past and they are great quality. They are pricey but very nice. We always end up grouting them with vinyl tile grout and have never had any issues. These turned out great! They've been on the floor for 2 weeks and there has not been any lifting or bubbling. When installing, I made sure the floor were clean and did my best to get the tiles as tightly fit together as possible, using the claw end of a hammer to really push/pull the tiles together for as seamless of a fit as possible. A lifesaver for my old house! I have three types of hardwood flooring in my kitchen/dining room. It was an eyesore and so difficult to keep clean, as it's old and badly damaged. On a whim, I ordered this peel-and-stick tile and it /completely transformed the space/. I used to avoid my kitchen because it always felt dirty to me, but now it's intentional and beautiful.
