Nice cabinet that feels a little smaller than expected. It includes white wooden knobs that I switched out with others to coordinate with another furniture piece. For reference, in my photo, the baskets are 16” D x 9” W x 6” H as positioned, to give an idea of what would fit on a shelf. It took 43 minutes to assemble. Its lightweight but sturdy. It looks like solid wood and very good quality. I appreciate how they packaged the hardware needed. You will need a screwdriver. The only downside for me was the last step of screwing in part number 8 would be easier if you apply it before putting on the top shelf. I’m pleased with this purchase. It was a bit challenging to assemble on my own since I have short arms and the front and back of the unit are preinstalled. Also because the particle board in the back was a bit warped it was difficult to get the top to line up when assembling the final bolts. It’s definitely a two person job. But the solid word portion is good quality and I’m pleased the cherry color is a close match to my other furniture. If it’s delivered to your home when you are not there you’ll need a dolly to get it inside. It’s extremely heavy when all packaged together. When I see something described as solid wood I expect the whole thing to be solid wood. The backing is flimsy MDF as are the drawer bottoms. The drawers are extremely delicate I would not purchase this unit to store anything. Assembly took 4 hours (with screw gun) and I’ve built a lot of furniture. There was an improperly constructed hole preventing one of the fasteners working to hold the top on (ultimately not necessary for function, luckily). However, I did find assembly definitely took 2 people and we had quite a time getting the drawer in once we assembled it. After looking for an assembly video (no luck), I read through the reviews and found one that mentioned the drawer slide was installed backwards. Sure enough, that was our issue! This is a nice piece of furniture. Perfect for a person on a budget and wants “wood”. It’s not high end wood and uses laminated pieces to look “thick” but it works and has a very simplistic rustic look and feel. Because it’s pine (or similar) it’s light but sturdy.
