Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. This is a high-quality Japanese joinery bed frame. It relies entirely on amazing wood-on-wood tension rather than metal fasteners, nails, or glue. I like the solid hardwood construction. The corner joints slot together smoothly without forced hammering. Really easy to put the joints together. Assembly takes me about 20 minutes by simply following the instructions and interlocking the components in sequence. The precision wood-on-wood joinery eliminates creaking entirely.
