The cabinet seems sturdy and well-made, the colors of the drawers are pretty true to the photos. However, the bird paintings are pretty bad, they are not as vibrant as the photos and look like they were done by an 8-year-old; it did come from China, so who knows :/ It does smell pretty strongly of paint when unwrapped, so didn’t love that. I noticed when adding supplies that the drawers don’t have anything to keep them from coming all the way out out when opening. So I’ll just have to be careful with that. This is a beautiful cabinet, but unfortunately is not built to withstand the shipping. Three of the four top corners had crushing damage that was not showing on the box or styrofoam packing material, which means it was either an open box situation that Wayfair sent out again by mistake or it happened at the factory during packing. The interior door stops were also ripped off somehow, damaging the wood piece they were screwed into and leaving us unable to reattach the door stops. That being said, the manufacturer gave us every option to replace the cabinet but we decided to just keep it and accept a partial refund, as it still is a solid and useful cabinet and for what we need it for the damage doesn't negate its functionality. If undamaged, it would be a beautiful addition to any room. The manufacturer is very helpful and obviously customer service is very important to them, which I always appreciate.
