The Prestow uses a simple butterfly mechanism - gently pull on either end of the table to 'open' the sliding mechanism and reveal the extension piece concealed under the top. Lift and unfold the extension piece to create the additional length. Why not pair these with any of our matching wooden cross back chairs for a sleek look? Available in either white and gray, cream and oak or oak. This product is real wood and so it will age, which can result in colour variations.

Assembly was a little tricky because the leaf did not align with the pre-drilled holes. Moving the hardware fixed this. This was difficult to put together as some of the threads for the bolts were not placed straight but at a slight angle. One of the supporting pieces of wood was so bowed the bolt wasnt long enough to reach through without us putting a ton of pressure on the piece to make it lie flat and we could hear it cracking. Also the Allen wrench that came with this was misshapen at the long end making it useless for reaching into the recessed areas to tighten the bolts. The table is gorgeous! Very well built and high quality. However mine is super dark AND I didn’t realize it is COUNTER HEIGHT. Now that I look at the photos it does look counter height but I wanted a regular height table sooooooo we are going to cut the top of the legs and shorten it because I love it too much to let it go! It has the look of antique dark oak barnwood. They did add antique paintglaze but it’s well done. I would say it’s a neutral brown. Very good finish that looks great. Lots of distressing and saw marks and I LOVE it. I’m glad it came in so I can choose flooring that doesn’t compete. The flooring I chose looked just like it and that would be too much together. The delivery was better than expected. Customer service is rediculous. The table is beautiful, but I wonder if I will be able to assemble. I tried to contact the company to no consequential result. There were no bolts to attach the table to the pedestal and no direction as to how to make the pedestal secure. As a result, the table lies in two pieces on my living room floor.. Patricia.
