This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend. . Love this table! It is very dark brown... think espresso brown. Definitely not gray or ashy in color. But I love it! The inserts to expand the table go in and out very easily. The only downside is that the inserts do not store under the table, but would need to be stored in a closet when not in use. I expect to always keep them in though.. Heather. Kintnersville, PA.
