It is a really cool light fixture but I have had to have two electricians come to work on it to get it to light up and now the remote doesn’t work so I can’t get the fan to turn on. Gorgeous fan, but thought the blades were too small to really move air around our bedroom. To be fair, we hadnt installed it to really test it out. We have.a similar one in a smaller bedroom and it only pushes the air directly under as opposed to the more traditional ceiling fan. Our upstairs gets warm, even with central air. It features a flower-shaped caged ceiling fan with cloaked fan blades. Its outer shade is embedded with brilliant diamond-cut octagonal crystals while the inner shade displays a diamond-shaped pattern.

My wife and I are very happy with this light. At the advice of another reviewer, we asked the contractor who installed it to trim the rod to the ceiling. He trimmed about 4” off. I am 6’ and I have 8’ ceilings and I have around 5” or so of clearance when I stand underneath it. The fan is impressive and silent up to about Level 4 (1-6), then you start to hear the motor working ever so slightly. For each time you turn the fan on, it does rev up for 1-2 seconds, then slows down to your requested speed. I noticed that the website says to use Max 40watt Bulbs, but the sticker on the chandelier says Max 25w. However, LEDs have become the new standard, and a comparable 40w and 60w incandescent bulb will drop down to 4w and 6w respectively for each LED bulb (Same Brightness, less Watts), so you’re good. But if you plan to use incandescent bulbs, know that you will be capped at 25w. If you have never bought LED bulbs before, pay close attention to color temperature. I bought 2700k (best mimics incandescent color warmth). Stay away from anything 3000k or above (Blue/Blinding/Harsh). Also, and I don’t know who needs to hears this, but do not use a dimmer switch on this, or any other fan. It will burn out the motor. Lastly, I really wanted to know what the fan looked like from below, but there were no pics of that, so I included that as well. Its a gorgeous light. You won’t be disappointed!. Joshua. This ceiling fan looks beautiful over the bed in our beach house. It is unique in the way that the rattan is in lines and is also done in a double layer like light. It has a ceiling fan that is attached to top of it and you use remote control to open the fan up and to close it. When it’s closed it just sits folded up at top. When you want to use it you push button and speed and it circulates and the blades unfold and open as it picks up speed. It looks amazing. Again. Very unique. Still looks coastal but also a more modern version of the coastal look as opposed to the older leaf like blades that have been around forever. The color is light and neutral so it goes with many things. You can put different types of bulbs in it as well as different shades of color. It went up easily and it seems to be made very well. The Fandelier is yet to be installed, so it’s not possible to speak to the functionality how much output it has - I’ll update later, once installed. I think it’s still pretty, just not very gold. Hopefully my client will be happy with it. UPDATE: Fandelier has been successfully installed. My client is very happy with it, it has more power than one might expect given the size of the blades & the remote works well. The *only* complaint is that it beeps every time the light is turned on/off, or the fan speed is adjusted - it's a totally unnecessary feature & a little annoying for my clients who have it installed over their bed in the primary bedroom. This fan is okay. It was pet straight forward to install with the exception of the last two mounting screws. The space between the shade and the ceiling was very tight which made it difficult to get the screwdriver into the needed position to tighten the last two screws.
