OMG this shower door is super heavy and amazingly thick and durable . You NEED to hire a contractor to install it - unless you have one in your family. I have attached a photo of my old doors that’s not as thick or durable as this new one. The contractors came out and installed the shower door - see last photo - look how amazing it looks. This door was relatively easy to install and the app with videos was very useful. The black itself scratches really easily (especially while you are cutting it down the to correct width for your opening) so be careful when doing that step on the top and bottom. This shower was quite easy to install considering its weight and quality. It took one person with DIY skills about 6-8 hours from start to finish, including caulksealant. It is difficult to show all aspects of the shower door in a few photos online, but the door did meet our expectations. this is really great quality shower doors and exactly what we needed. I really liked that we could trim them to the size we needed since we don't seem to have the standard size opening.
