I wasnt sure about these when I first opened the packages. The smell was so strong that I had to put them in the wash immediately (watch out for crazy amounts of fuzz from the chenille!). The pattern is also printed on, not embroidered, and I thought it might look tacky. They came out of the wash pretty wrinkled even though I took them out right away, and the instructions say not to iron. And after all that - I really love them! These curtains came out just right I thought there might be a gap at the bottom after hanging the rod above the window frame but they sit just perfect. I love these curtains. They’re the perfect bohemian feminine look and pair perfectly with my mid-century mod and antique furniture. I had this in the shower curtain version in my old house. Now I needed curtains for my new house and I was excited to find these since I loved the shower curtain. They work perfectly in my living room and go with my Wayfair chairs and Wayfair rug . It also perfectly matches my teal accent wall which isn’t in the picture. They are a decent quality for the price. I like that they provide privacy and you can’t see through them but it does filter light through. These are so pretty! I was concerned about the velvet, but it’s not the old timey velvet. I saw these on another site that described as light filtering and I think that is a better description.
