Once we got the floor assembled the rest of it went pretty easily except for the roof which was a real challenge. We ended up securing two corners inside then tucking the rest of it in, otherwise we would get it tucked in and it would come out. Also the door panel had a small dent which I don't think will affect the durability but a little disappointing to have some damage on it. I needed an outside storage shed with a thinner profile. I ordered this cabinet mostly based off the dimensions. So, first the good points (1) the order arrived undamaged (2) the directions were easy to follow, (3) all parts ( there were a lot of them) were present clearly labeled (4) it holds quite a bit of stuff once assembled. Now for the reasons I gave it 4 stars not 5 (1) it’s quite time-consuming to put together so give yourself at least 2 full hours if you’re working alone (2) the base of the cabinet does not sit flush with the rest of the storage unit is likely to be an entry point for bugs or standing water (3) all pieces are covered by a protective plastic adhesive which takes the brunt of the shipping scratches but must be removed from each piece preferably prior to assembly for a clean, scratch-free look (4) it’s almost impossible to remove the adhesive from all pieces once assembled (5) the metal, once uncovered, scratches easily. It’s an outdoor storage shed so chances are it will get scratched. So it’s not the end of the world, especially if it’s out of sight. I cannot confirm if it’s waterproof but the roof pieces overlap in a way that makes me think it will do just fine in areas not inundated with rain inclement weather.. Leslie. Fillmore, CA. I ordered the shed in grey…it arrived on time and my handyman and I put it together in about 4 hours. It was a bit overwhelming but I am happy with the result. The floor was not very sturdy but my handyman solved that by putting treated wood below it and now it is very sturdy. In addition we used the hardware included and drilled it into the concrete slab we made for it to stand on. Really cute little shed but I didn't realize how small it really is. It's not going to work for what I need (shovels and rake etc) because it's too short but it will work for outdoor blankets and pillows just fine. Easy to assemble and the wood looks really nice. Patience is a virtue - I was able to put this shed together by myself in about 10 hours. Picture instructions were 90% adequate however there were some steps I had to really focus on the drawings to determine where the pieces fit - inside/outside position grooves. Some of the screw instructions were not as clear as I would have liked. Definitely use a drill to help screws go in cleanly and keep closer to the outer edges to ensure screws actually go into walls. Having a second pair of hands during the wall & roof installation would have been less taxing physically. Screws for door hinges have no spares and as 2 of the 24 provided did not fit really well and I ended up stripping one of them and the other was only able to tighten half way I would have like the floor to be a bit firmer than it is. And the sizing is more 4.5 ft x 2.5 ft which was a bit of let down as I wanted to fit my current shelving units on both sides. I also would have liked a middle roof bracket to give it more stability for the door opening, plus I think it would have helped make the roof installation a bit easier.. Christine. North Saanich, BC.
