Very sturdy!! And well made. Look for screws outside of the interior box as our box was open and the screw package fell out as we opened the bigger box but did find it eventually while clearing up the packaging! I really love this piece as it is better than the 1st 'craft center' (that is how I use it) I purchased a few years ago which was ruined by a flood in our basement (no fault of Wayfair of course)! It has more style with the sliding drawers, costs a lot less, but did not come with a separate file cabinet like the 1st, but do not need it as this one has 2 file drawers. And the best part, is it has a electric recepitcal on the top of the desk for a lamp or another appliance if needed. And it fits in my ensuite walk-in closet (which is my little craft room). This is one product/company review that I was excited to post. I ordered the Cendrillon L-Shape Desk along with the 1-Drawer Storage and 2-Drawer Storage Cabinets. I am very happy with the quality and style of this wedge corner desk. The furniture is very well made and looks great - exactly what I wanted. Five stars for Wayfair on speed of delivery and customer service. The shipping estimate I received from several furniture stores for these pieces was 10-12 weeks. I found this set on Wayfair and it was delivered in 5 days! One of the cabinets was damaged upon arrival, and Wayfair is replacing this item at no charge ... and I do not have to return it. This was such a pleasant surprise! The cabinet is heavy and repacking and shipping it back would have been very difficult for me. Desk looks great after about 6 hours of assembly. Good directions though I do recommend using a drill even though the instructions say you only need a screwdriver.
