Overall the chairs are nice. Sturdy, comfortable. Very aesthetically pleasing. However, it was hard putting the back onto the stool part because the screws are very very hard to get to with a rachet to tighten. There were also chips in the finish and some kind of hard white residue on the wood of the back of the chair that I had to scrape off of one of them. Assembly per chair took about 30-45 min. Luckily they were on sale. I would not have paid almost $400 per chair. The sale price of $100 is doable. As long as they last.
