This is an excellent office chair in terms of quality. The leather is golden brown in color, and the seat is wide. Chrome accents make the chair look modern and elegant. Assembling was not easy, but it was manageable. The swivel and reclining functions of the chair work perfectly and are easy to use. The only complaint I have is that the seat leans a little bit.. I wanted a wide seated chair with a firm cushion as I spend a lot of time in it, I did want some sort of back support as I like to sit up straight. I understand what people are saying when they say there is 'no support'. I have to sit all the way back (I'm 5'4") to receive the back support. I bought a footrest and it seems to be helping with how close I have to sit to the desk to work (also changed out the wheels). This is a spacious chair! If you need the room, this is a great choice. I have waffled on this between four and five stars. The chair is every bit as weighty and good looking as the pictures show. Not quite a chesterfield but chesterfield-like. The "faux leather" certainly feels as you would expect pleather to feel. I'm a fan of full grain leather typically but given the option of this versus a 2k+ chair of real leather it is a good compromise. I will say the following though as a "con" of sorts. There are a few comments here about the pitch of the seat. As an amateur woodworker I mistook this as not understanding that a proper seat needs pitch to be comfortable. The basic pitch (with the back locked) is a bit more than I thought it would be and I can see how a smaller person may not like it. The one major drawback is that the chair only reclines when the footrestleg rest is pulled out. I would prefer to be able to recline without having to use the footrest, so that is definitely something to consider before purchasing.
