Directions were easy and clear, all parts labeled nearly, says it takes two people to assemble, but I did it myself in an hour. 'Lots of screws all put in with the provided Alan wrench which got a bit tiring, but not terrible. I might suggest a rubber mallet as helpful, but not critical. Very lovely set. But, was difficult to put together as screws were out of alignment and instructions were vague in spots. All the hardware was in one bag, so you had to sort through what was what. Finished product is lovely though. As aside, I purchased a similar set several years ago from Wayfair that was less expensive, higher quality and easy to put together.
