This is a nice sturdy desk. It does take hours to put together but the instructions are easy to follow and very accurate. I gave it only 4 stars because of the time it takes and the fact that the electrical part of the desk could have been easier to hide cords and such. This is a beautiful desk. Looks just as good as it does in the picture. The chairs in my photo are also from Wayfair. I recommend paying the money to assemble. It took the two-person crew three hours. But it looks perfect. However, long after the assembly crew left, I realized the light on the front of the desk does not work. The desk arrived late and the electric parts didn’t work. The customer service agent talked in circles trying to insist on my accepting replacement parts with no partial refund. Kept talking around it when I asked about returning and refund. Then said I’d have to disassemble the desk to return it. Ummm no. I’m not giving giving my free labor for something that arrived late and dysfunctional. After about an hour of the run around they finally agreed to send the parts and give a partial refund for all the trouble. They could’ve just offered that to begin with. I’m now waiting for the parts. The desk itself looks great. Feels solid. Was a reasonable cost. If the replacement parts actually work, it will be a great desk.
