I received my farmhouse size Murphy bed with lights and charging station on the date stated when I placed my order. The directions were could have had better pictures as we found ourselves guessing on a few occasions and had to stop and redo steps on one occasion. The Murphy bed took two people a few hours to assemble and I love it! The online pictures do not do justice as it looks so much nicer in person. I love the shelf and LED lights and how easy it is to set up and tear down. Im on oxygen 24 hours a day and have very little strength and yet Im able to pull the bed down myself. It also features a powder-coated finish that stands up to daily use.

The bronze color is a rich matte finish brown. I am 64 yo and was able to build it by myself. It did take a while (NOT 1.5 hours for me) and as another reviewer said, pushing all those plastic pieces in was rough on the hands ! It does seem very sturdy though. Well built, not flimsy at all. Don't tighten anything at all until everything is together - leave it really loose. Had to go back and loosen at first for more flexibility in connecting. 8" mattresses coming tomorrow - $99 deal each so the whole thing will be less than $500 for my grandchildren when they visit so they no longer have to bring sleeping bags or camp out on the floor ! I'd show you after the bedding is on but I'll prob forget so here it is....for now. Wendy. Ocean, NJ. Thu Oct 15 2026

These beds work well for guests in my extra bedroom. One of the slats broke the second time it was used but Wayfair sent a new set of slats and it has held up so far. Some of the slats are joined rather than single pieces of wood which can create a weak spot. It looks nice as a daybed.. Julie. Portland, OR. Fri Sep 25 2026

The included pop-up trundle wheels out on casters to easily convert the daybed into a larger sleeping surface or two separate twin beds. Very happy with this purchase! The bed is sturdy and looks great. One helpful thing to know make sure to purchase an 8-inch mattress for the bottom trundle. The listing doesn’t specify a mattress thickness, and anything thicker than 8 inches will prevent the trundle from sliding underneath the bed properly. Hopefully this helps anyone trying to figure out what size mattress to order!. Shauna Monae. Ventura, CA. Tue Sep 22 2026
