This is just perfect for what I needed and much nicer than I had anticipated! For aesthetics, I had originally wanted a larger ottoman for my upstairs hall, but everything I looked at was just too wide and would have compromised our walking space. I am so happy I picked this ottoman. The shape works really well in tight (or narrow) spaces, while still offering a comfortable full seat and quite a bit of space, for its size, to store items out of sight. I chose the beige, which is a very good quality linen fabric. This also has some unexpected extras. I like that the fabric comes over the top of the bottom, so you don't see the dark interior lining with the lid on. The feet on the bottom of the lid ensure the top stays in place, which is important if used for sitting. It's a great addition to our home, with multiple uses, and is very well-made. I am very pleased with this upholstered round cocktail ottoman. While the color was slightly different from what I expected based on the online photos, it still blends nicely with my décor and looks beautiful in the room. The comfort and quality more than make up for the small color difference. One of the things I love most about this ottoman is how versatile it is. It works perfectly as a footrest, extra seating, and even as a place to set a tray for drinks or snacks. My grandchildren absolutely love it and often choose to sit on it when they visit.
