I've had this in my office for the past four years. It has held up surprisingly well. People visiting my office for the first time constantly tell me how pretty and comfortable this loveseat is. It has a nice, cozy vibe. It does look a little sloppier with age - the fabric starts to wrinkle and slip a bit - but it just gets more and more cozy. There was, however, a pet-related incident a while back in which I discovered that this sofa is, unfortunately, very difficult to clean. This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. Unfortunately, despite being advertised as a sofa bed, it does not convert into a bed, which was disappointing and the main reason for my purchase. That said, I do like the sofa itself. Assembly was straightforward, it feels sturdy, and the corduroy fabric is soft and attractive. I also appreciate that the cushion covers unzip for easy washing. I did try sleeping on it, but the armrests are very hard, making it less comfortable for overnight use. Because it doesn't function as a sofa bed as described and isn't ideal for sleeping, I'm giving it 4 stars.
