The brown color is more like a sand color and blends really nicely with our light gray walls, giving the room a more warm feeling than our previous black pleather sectional. We usually don’t allow our dogs on the furniture and our kids are all grown, but we shall see how it holds up with our grandkids over the years! Cons the only thing really is that I wish the cushions were a little thickermore substantial. They have stayed a little bit lumpy since we set it up a week ago. I hope writing this review helps someone else who may be on the fence. The color is beautiful and neutral, and the material feels high end. The extendable backs are cool. During the day we keep it smaller because I prefer the look, but for lounging or movie watching we push them back, it’s easy to do, feel sturdy, and the mechanism works seamlessly. Love that you can remove the slip cushions but the attachments that put them together are terrible and it wasn’t easy trying to put them together. The cushions are on the firmer side, but I’m hoping they soften a little with time and use. I really like the overall design and functionality, especially for a U-shaped sectional with a pull-out sleeper and the two storage ottomans have ample storage for two large throw blankets and spare pillows. Easily sleeps someone over six feet tall. Most importantly, this couch fits really well in a smaller space without feeling too cramped.
