As several other reviews have mentioned, the assembly while straightforward is a little tricky. The couch arrives in three different boxes. One box has the bench seat which contains the legs and cushions inside the bottom of it. You will need two people minimum to assemble this couch. Once you lineup, the pieces like the arm and the seat you will have to push down, but you won’t see it going in so you have to line it up really well before you start pushing it in. it’s easy to get one side in and then not get the other side in. for the first arm attachment, we stood the seat up on its end, making it easier. with two people it took about 30 minutes to unpack it and assemble it. The legs look OK but they’re just inexpensive plastic so they’re not that beautiful. You might want to replace them with custom legs. Luckily there are lots of places that sell really cool furniture legs if you want something nicer. I think the couch is very comfortable. It has a generous size seat. It is a firmer couch, but the wide arms are really comfy to lean on and it’s comfortable when you stretch out on it. It looks really great. The fabric is nice and the pillows are very high-quality. This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. All of the pieces were well packaged, the instructions were easy to follow, and I was able to put it together without any frustration. It didn’t take long to have it fully assembled and ready to use. One of my favorite features is the cushions. They are nice and firm, which gives the couch a more supportive feel than many sofas that tend to be overly soft and lose their shape quickly. The seat cushions provide comfortable support whether you’re sitting to watch TV, read, or just relax. The tufted design and rolled arms also give it a classic, elegant look that makes the room feel more polished. The fabric feels soft and looks great in person, and the couch has a sturdy, well-built feel overall. It fits nicely in the space without overwhelming the room and adds a cozy yet stylish touch. This is a nice looking sofa at a good price! I like the shape and the fabric. A few things to note: 1) I ordered "brown" but it really reads "gray"; however, the color is pretty neutral so it goes with anything; add some pillows and it looks great; 2) the back is FIRM so you really sit upright on it; this isn't something you sink into; 3) it's really comfortable to lay down on, which is what I wanted.
