This chair is very comfortable and a delight. Assembly really requires prior experience with schematics and understanding basic aspects of hardware. However, as the pics show, the upper/seat section is out of alignment with the lower/base portion; it's pushed to one side. That results in the upper frame knocking against the rear black glide "dog bone" part. I don't understand what would cause this skewing. I kept all fasteners not-tight until everything was assembled. I bought one of these recliners about 3 years ago and loved it so much that I just bought another recently—like last week. I noticed that it was made even better than my first one. The foot lift is smother and pushing the foot rest down is also smother and easier. The seat itself is firmer and fuller and they have changed the design in such a way that you don’t need a “specialist” to come to your home to put it together.
