I have reached out to Wayfair and they forwarded my return request to the manufacturer. Personally I think it was damaged in transit but there were chips in the paint on most of the drawers so maybe not. I would have just touched it up with some paint but then while unpacking it I noticed huge damage to one of the side drawers that would make it impossible to assemble. Much of the Styrofoam packaging was crumbled and getting all over the place which made it all the more infuriating as I had spent an hour slowly unpacking and wiping down the pieces. I think this dresser is great! It fits the rest of the decor in my room very well. You cant fit too much into each drawer, as theyre not that deep, and some of the wood parts used for this are cheap and fragile (so be careful when building it). But other than that I think its a decent size for my room and is beautiful in color. Added bonus! Customer service is great. A piece came broken, and Wayfair and the manufacturer immediately came to the rescue in replacing the broken piece. Do I think this dresser will last long-term Absolutely not. Well this piece I think was package pretty well FedEx couldnt damage it which is good thing. My opinion the overall quality of the material used was not of the best that could have been used probably in my opinion but the veneer on it is very thin. According to him it was easier than that other brand and setup was easy. The cooor is a muted white oak and brightens the room. Drawers are much deeper than I expected. This is a great dresser! It tooks about 3-4 hours for me to put together, the directions are straightforward and easy to follow. It is a very sturdy dresser, the drawers lined up perfectly and provide a lot of space. I chose this one because the drawers are a little deeper as well.
