Beautiful bed frame, however seems like the screws come loose easily. We haven’t had any major problems but something about it doesn’t feel as sturdy as I would have hoped. Very pretty though!. Julie. Catonsville, MD. Wed Aug 26 2026

The Sapa platform bed makes its case through restraint. With no headboard to draw the eye, what remains is pure structure: a low, clean frame that lets the room breathe around it. It is a design suited to the bedroom that has learned to do without excess. The horizontal profile sits quiet and grounded, leaving the wall behind it open and the floor space uncrowded. Beneath that simplicity, the frame is built entirely from solid wood and assembled using traditional Japanese mortise-and-tenon joinery, hand-crafted joints that interlock without screws or bolts to deliver silent, lasting stability. Reinforced to a 1000 lb capacity, it is far stronger than its spare appearance suggests. A silent slat system holds beneath without creak or shift, and the whole assembles in about 30 to 45 minutes without power tools. The Sapa platform bed asks for very little and gives a great deal in return: a calm, uncluttered foundation for rest.

Hello Im totally in love wth the simplicity of this platform bed frame It is well made and made of solid wood. The color is beautiful I wanted something simple but makes a statement The joinery makes it easy to put together and it totally carries itself with no headboard to take away from the Beautiful wood. It was a bit on the heavy side since it is SOLID WOOD ... but each piece is very straight-forward as to where its suppose to go... after all it just has 4 sides ) I put it together by myself it was a bit of a balancing act... lol ... I had read in reviews that people were complaining that you need two to put it together...you can just lean one of the long sides onto a wall then slide in the two shorter sides and then you slide the two other ends of the short side ... WELLA YOUR BED IS MADE Soo0oo... NO YOU DONT NEED TWO PEOPLE ... I PUT IT TOGETHER SOLO, JUST LIL OLE ME ) Mercedes from OK Change. Mercedes. OK. Sun Oct 04 2026

This is a beautiful bed frame. I was worried it would look too rustic or too yellow, but it doesn’t. I wish the heads of the screws were hidden with a wood cap somehow. Our bed is a bit too low for us now, so we’ll be making something to go underneath to raise it up a bit. Otherwise it looks great in our bedroom!. Hannah. Zionsville, PA. Fri Oct 16 2026

I own a king size mattress (9 inch height) and two xl twin box springs (9 inch height). These are what I placed on this bed frame once I got it assembled. The specs say it has a capacity of 1000 pounds. If you are going for a setup like mine you may be alright if weight capacity is a concern for you. Assembly was pretty straightforward only 2 different screw types and washers...it comes with an allen wrench. I assembled it alone and it took me about 1 hour. Was impressed that the middle support slacks were made of some sort of metal. All of my past bed frames were made of wood slacks so it feel super safe. No squeaking when getting in and out of bed so far. Frame legs have floor grips on the bottom. CONS: 1. [This one is self inflicted lol] Kinda ridiculously high since I added my box spring and a mattress. Haven't run into any issue getting in and out of bed. It's actually kinda growing on me. 2. The frame isn't crafted to inset the mattress. As a result the mattress will lay on top of the frame. There are products like Adjustable Non Slip Matress Stoppers to hold mattresses in place if this bothers you but from my setup so far everything has stayed in place so far.. Joshalyn. Augusta, GA. Saw a similar frame to this one at a different site but they had gone out of business. Found this one on Wayfair and really like this frame. The instructions were somewhat confusing and the tool wrench supplied could have been a little longer as it was difficult to access screws to tighten. Once the top panels were installed it was difficult to make sure the panel screws were tightened correctly. This frame gave me the style and look I wanted, without having to worry about matching my other bedroom furniture.. Anonymous. Mobile, AL. Thu Oct 22 2026

Perfect for for what we needed. Super easy to put together. Maybe 1 hour. I know there is a sticky to hold the mattress in place, but a small lip at the end would help to hold in place. We purchased a twin so the mattress is lighter weight. I would get again.. Colleen. Chicago, IL. Mon Sep 07 2026

Purchased driftwood beige - exactly as pictured and is indeed solid wood construction, but the finish covers the natural grain of the wood. It has a fake wood grain embossed in a thick, plastic-y finish, whereas I expected (and would have preferred) a pickled natural wood look. Regardless, its well made and well designed. Packaged very well with no damage to components. Assembly can be done solo, and I like the Japanese style joinery.. Anonymous. Mauldin, SC. Sat Sep 12 2026
