Hekman Firm Upholstery Sofa

This was worth waiting for. Beautiful lines, and nice and firm. It's hard to find a new sofa that won't look anachronistic in a vintage 1930 home, but this does the trick. A pleasant surprise is that it sits a little higher than I expected. The fabric is soft to touch, and it comes with two matching square pillows. I'm delighted with this sofa! Pls excuse background mess-wallpapering.. Erin. Buffalo, MN. Thu Jul 25 2024

Crisp welting and plush cushioning make this piece a great marriage of sophistication and comfort. Also available are the matching loveseat, chair, and ottoman.

This is a very nice couch at a very reasonable price. The cushions are firm (in a good way), and the fabric has a tight-enough weave that it'll likely hold up to pets. It appears to be solidly-built, and I would expect this to last 15+ years if you don't abuse it. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that the condition of the sofa was not what I was expecting. I would typically not lower a review rating based on shipping issues, but I believe that the damage (nothing major but very annoying) would be likely to occur for anyone ordering this sofa based on my packaging and shipping observations. The problem is that the sofa is shipped on its legs - not palletized or with slides. Of course, there were indications that somewhere along its journey, people slid it around on its legs. It was missing 3 of 4 feet, had scuffing on the legs, and had a small tear in the underside dustcover. While I would love to have this sofa in new condition, I cannot recommend ordering it for delivery because there is too great a chance that it will arrive in less-than-new condition. Wayfair customer service addressed the issue, but I am ultimately not happy with this purchase.. James. Reno, NV. Fri Jun 18 2021

Truly a beautiful, comfy couch. We have had it for a little over a year now and love it. It’s very cushy and has great depth. It’s also super easy to clean—most spills/dirt can be wiped with a wet paper towel without a sign of it if you are quick enough. We use hand held carpet cleaner for the more difficult ones, and it comes out easily with that. The fabric is starting to pill, but that’s expected and really my only complaint. Update 3 years in--still beautiful. Got lazy and put the cushion covers in the washer/dryer on low heat instead of using the carpet cleaner, and they came out completely fine & look brand new! Will always recommend this couch!. Kaylee. South Carolina. Fri May 29 2026

This Upholstery is “Proudly Bringing the Comfort to America’s Living Room.” We are proud to be an American manufacturer and operate 22 production divisions across 10 manufacturing locations with a diverse workforce of over 740 employees all in the United States. We are committed to quality in every step of our manufacturing process. This begins with milling and drying our own hardwoods at our lumberyard facility to ensure that our frames are built to last without warping, twisting, or cracking. From there, the lumber travels to one of our frame shops where the wood is cut, shaped, and assembled into the highest quality frames available. The foam and fiber parts, built with eco-friendly practices and recycled materials are cut to size at one of two nearby foam processing plants. These components are then joined in one manufacturing center where they are assembled into your piece of furniture. Our fabric, sourced from around the world, selected for its quality, style, and value and stored in our climate-controlled fabric warehouse, is then cut, sewn and applied to create your finished piece of upholstered furniture.
