We had purchased the same porch swing stand 10 years ago and it held up really well in our harsh Florida weather (we had stained it for weather proofing, so that was a big factor for it doing so well). It was time to purchase a new one because the old one was starting to rot in certain places. I did not hesitate to repurchase the same stand. This time I wanted to stain it white to match our swing. The instructions could use a little more detail to help with the assembly, but we figured it out. To assemble the stand, you need a drill, a mallet, and a socket wrench or wrench. The manufacturer provides you with a Robertson drill bit for the 3” screws. We needed 3 people to start the first installation step. 2 people were needed to assemble the rest of it. It took us an hour to assemble the stand. We are very pleased with the stand and recommend it.. Penny. Palmetto Bay, FL. Sat Apr 18 2026

Nice clean lines, with just the right amount of detail. Put this swing stand paired with your favorite swing on your deck, porch, or any level spot where you want to relax. Think about planting a vine to wind around the beam for a great look.

We love this for our swing purchased from Outer Banks Hammocks. It was easy to put together but needed 2 people.. Anonymous. Sun Jul 28 2024

My husband put it together and it didn’t take him long. Instructions were easy to follow but we were missing parts to attach the arms from the frame to the canopy.. Jenna. Houston, TX. Fri Jul 24 2026

Need to escape from the day's stress, but don't know where to go? Look no further than your yard. With northern white cedar logs swing, you can get away from it all without emptying your pocketbook. With the rustic natural look, you can put the swing almost anywhere, bringing a part of nature into your yard. Relax in the custom contoured seat that conforms to your body for maximum comfort and support. You can always find time to get away - at home. Many or most of the logs will have cracks. These cracks are called checks. Checking occurs when the logs dry and the cells shrink causing the wood to split. This does not weaken the wood. Checking helps give cedar furniture its rustic beauty.

I thought the swing was 5-star, but the ‘A’ frame was a disappointment. Specifically, because the corner braces were not cut in such a way that they fit smoothly into place. Instead there were gaps and all 6 braces were either too short or too long and had to be trimmed. I would have expected this type of an issue if the swing came from a foreign market, but not when made in the USA. You should think about communicating with “All Things Cedar” and talk about quality control. What other cedar products have little issues. R W Sliger. Melbourne, FL. Sat Jun 26 2021

The instructions were easy to read and follow, I had it together in no time!! Since Wayfair didn’t have the color I wanted I’m going to paint it black and then swing will be painted to match the beams on our patio!! I think it will be beautiful!! Not that it isn’t now, it needs TLC!!. Shelly. Fri Sep 04 2026

This is great easy to put together. I have the bottom back bar close to a fence so the little kids can’t get near it. My fear is if that step on it, that it may break. This is a great addition to our back yard.. Anonymous. Sat Aug 01 2026
