We spray painted metal towers and covered shelves with white wood grain contact paper to lighten up this dark set. Quite easy to put together with two people with half stands propped on ottoman. Did put together top and bottom with holes facing wrong way and had to remove and flip one bottom tower so that joining screws found holes. Very wobbly and definitely anchored to wall on either side. These paired shelving units were just what my small business was looking for to store our store's product. Each unit took about 1/2 hour to assemble with two people working together. It was very quick and easy to build. It also came with some extra screws and pieces in case you dropped anything. The support mounting area was already pre drilled which is nice because the spacing is even but the only thing I don’t like about that personally is if you wanted to support it with a wall stud, you’d have to either place it in a way that lines up with one which may throw off the centering to a room or drill new holes into it.
