These are heavy duty mounts. They swivel nice and quiet. The heavy duty springs make for a comfortable ride. New construction on my install so I blocked for a swing in the ceiling during construction. The lag bolts are 1/2 inch. If going into a 2x4 I would make sure it was centered.. Anonymous. So far so good! Fairly easy to put together, my husband pretty much did it by himself in 5 hours but probably could have been 3 without pets and kid distractions! Seems very sturdy and our daughter loves it. The only negative I have is not with the product but rather the shipping. When ordering it makes it seem like it would arrive in 5 days but status was pending for a couple days, then seemed like it shipped, then updated to partial ship status which was confusing.
