The black finish looks great and seems durable. Assembly took a bit of time. The first one took about an hour, but the second only about 30 minutes once I knew what I was doing. It wasn’t difficult, just a bit time-consuming. The chairs are comfortable and have a smooth rocking motion. I did notice that the seat slats flex slightly when sitting down or rocking, but they still feel solid and secure, so it’s not a huge concern. Overall, I think these chairs offer an excellent combination of style, comfort, and value. If you’re willing to invest a little time in assembly, you’ll end up with a great-looking addition to your porch or patio.
