A very heavy-duty bed frame that is specialized to fit standard King or standard queen bedding. This frame will not accommodate California or Western King bedding. Frame size must be specified at the time of purchase. The frame is not adjustable and can only fit one size or the other. The dimensions of the king bedding need to be 76"w x 80" long. This frame requires the use of a foundation or box spring. This heavy-duty frame has ten (10) legs that utilize our uniquely designed high-strength glides. The frame using these glides has been tested with a 2000-pound load. The glides are stronger than a wheel while maintaining the same or better mobility. These glides are safe on all flooring surfaces. They will not mark or scuff a wood floor like wheels. This frame sits approximately 8" off the floor. If no headboard is used, the headboard brackets can be left off and the bed centered on the frame, assuring that the frame cannot bump and damage the wall. All tools are included for a simple, quick, trouble-free assembly process. Headboard brackets are included and must be bolted onto the frame to ensure maximum adjustability to fit all designs of headboards. The headboard brackets are adjustable in both height and width and have 2 1/2" and 4" hole centers. All hardware and tools required for mounting the frame to a headboard are included. The steel in this frame is a high-strength, high-carbon, hot-rolled steel. The steel consists of 97% recycled material, which makes this frame a heavy-duty, environmentally friendly product.

We purchased this in two sizes. They have performed different, so I am going to review each independent from each other. This purchase was for a king bed. It went together relatively easily, and I did it by myself. It probabaly took less than two hours. The metal is sturdy, the pieces went together well (some of the screws are tight and I needed a few breaks between - but that’s a good thing!). It has been used for over two years now and has held up great! No scratches, little to no squeaking, no slats falling outloosening, etc. I am happy with the quality and price point. This product was very misleading. I spent about a month searching for a queen bed that didn’t have the center support leg so I could put a full size mattress underneath. I know this is a tough find, so I was excited to find this one didn’t have a center support leg, but unfortunately it did. Not only did it have a leg not shown in the pictures, there is an entire center bar not shown as well. This bed would have been a fine purchase if I was looking for a regular queen bed, but I bought it specifically because the the bed didn’t show a center leg. The pictures and description were very misleading. Also, my package came beat up, I could see the bed through the tears in the mattress.
