With inbound summer weather promising a blazing sun and merciless heat on many cloudless days, one reaction might be to cancel all outdoor plans and stay indoors; however, the party can always go on with this exciting California Umbrella cantilever design! The spacious 11-foot octagonal offset canopy is supported by eight aluminum ribs that are conveniently cranked open to provide a wide shaded space. As the sun moves higher in the sky, you can maintain your shade coverage by shifting the angle of the canopy to one of five preset positions using the vertical handle. This cantilever umbrella features a pedal at the base of its aluminum frame that enables you to rotate the umbrella 360 degrees, ensuring more coverage for your outdoor space. A sturdy cross base for the umbrella can either be bolted to the ground or weighted with pavers for stability from wind and weather. When the heat of summer has passed and shade is no longer needed, the canopy can be tied closed and the included protective cover pulled tight over it to defend it from fading and the elements. This umbrella also features Sunbrella fabrics, which are built on a foundation of solution-dyed acrylic yarn, the most resilient and solid material for prolonged sun exposure, to offer an even longer color retention rating than competing material sources. With this umbrella featured prominently in your backyard space, you will not need to worry about canceled summer get-togethers and parties, so order one today and invite some guests to enjoy summer’s outdoor beauty!

So happy with our recent purchase of these outdoor cantilever umbrellas! We bought 3 of them for our pool side and they are an immediate upgrade from our previous umbrellas. The poles are very sturdy, the fabric is stylish and thick, and the umbrellas measure 10 feet wide- providing ample shade from our strong Texas sun. Additionally, they glide up and down easily, are a breeze to open and can be positioned at different angles for the perfect amount of shade, any time of day. Did I mention they are rated for up to 30mph winds? But the best part is that they rotate 360 degrees by stepping on the foot pedal! No matter what time of day it is, you've got sun protection. These umbrellas are worth every dollar and I just can't say enough about them. We also purchased the optional 3 year insurance plan in case of incidentals. Huge, and very stable for being so large. Several options to rotate. Only thing is, everything you do with the umbrella is done by one crank. With the umbrella being so big, its very heavy and that cranking motion does a job on your shoulders and arms. But its beautiful, sturdy and easy to operate. The light inside easy to operate also. I had it professionally assembled. Make sure you have a very heavy duty base for it too. It is water resistant and has been good through a couple of pretty strong windstorm weve had....just make sure to close it at the 1st sign of a wind or thunder storm. So far, I highly recommend.. Ok - I was so nervous making this purchase and studied every single umbrella - then a few days before the 4th I bit the bullet and ordered it! Delivered in 2 days in 2 boxes - this is absolutely THE BEST purchase I have made on Wayfair (and I am a designer - and have ordered over 100,000 for projects in the past few years) Don’t hesitate- this is a top of the line product - I love it so much I ordered a second one immediately. DO buy the protection plan and also spend 24 on an umbrella cover - the cover (I have 4 - 2 for the large cantilever and the same 2 for m6 smaller umbrellas. This keeps them rain protected, clean and no sun fading ! I really can’t say enough I love this product - I wish I had better photos - the stand is awesome, the whole umbrella swings very easily using a foot peddle - just buy it !. Sherry. Pawcatuck, CT. Sturdy, high-quality, and surprisingly easy to assemble! I am extremely impressed with the quality of this cantilever umbrella. This umbrella is perfect! It’s very large bigger than expected and thankful. The pull handle does get a little hard to manipulate up the pole but a little silicone WD won’t hurt. Not a fan of the base but we altered it screwed it to the deck and made a little box around it. Overall great shade coverage.. Michelle. IN. Wed May 27 2026
