I was impressed with the quality of the materials and the instructions were pretty clear. I put mine on top of of a concrete pad. Also did a row of cinder blocks, which required a little customizing where the door fit in the wall. Also bought my own 16 foot and 10 foot long boards for the sill plates and headers, and used them instead of the shorter pieces that came with the kit. Michael. Wed Jul 03 2024

The Suncast 8x10 Shed is a nice addition to our property for our storage needs. I will admit the process of putting together the shed was not as easy as other reviews had suggested (however that is probably user error). Having a level base is extremely important as any uneven surface will cause the roofing and doors to not align as needed and will create some issues while putting it together. Overall for price and size this shed is worth it. My only other suggestion would be to anchor it down to protect against adverse weather.. Anonymous. Cheshire County, NH. Mon May 04 2026

I took a while to write this because it took us six months to find a contractor to put it together! Everyone is busy during peak contractor season. The finished product is amazing. It's a great deal and an amazing shed with lots of storage. Very stylish. I think our contractor had to buy paint, roof shingles and a couple of extra pieces of plywood. I will give you the breakdown, it took a licensed builder a full week to put it together but it's done right. Just to let you know if you are a DIY it will probably take three times that. WORTH IT. We put it over a concrete slab. SO HAPPY.. Amanda. United States. Wed Nov 16 2022

After a year, I wanted to see how this shed lasts. I bought it because it is a very nice looking shed. It wasn't too hard putting together. 4 guys. Instruction book is okay. Lots of room inside. But, here are the issues. 1) The doors do not line up and opening / closing them is a bit difficult. I don't even open the left one and I have to smash the right one into place. 2) there is one skylight that leaks. I have caulked it and have no idea why it is still leaking. Or it could be a roof seam. Is it still worth buying? I say yes. I like Lifetime products. Now I have to see what the company will do about the issues.. Purr. Sun Sep 06 2026

It took a day to assemble. I hired the crew from Handy via Wayfair. I bought the sheet shingles for the roofing since it doesn’t come with the kit and they were able to place it. I paid for a concrete slab to be made for it. Overall the whole project was about 4500. I am located in Florida and I will have to strap it down in case of a hurricane and hope for the best.. Ivana. I would include a picture if it had in fact been delivered this morning contrary to what I was told for the third time in the past week. I was told that it would be delivered last Sunday. It was pushed back until Wednesday, 1218 and then it was pushed back again till this Sunday 1222.. Somebody updated the tracking to say that they had attempted delivery on Wednesday the 18th when in fact they did not. They blamed that I had not opened a suitable drop zone for the delivery but nobody in fact ever showed up or called me. However, I got an email note today that it had been supposedly delivered this morning. No it had not been delivered. This order has been screwed up from the very beginning and its to the point where I cant believe anything that I see from Wayfair. Where it stands right now per Helen at the large parcel desk, shes waiting word from ABF who is going to be picking up my shed kit at the romeoville Illinois Warehouse and then schedule a delivery from there. I still dont know when its going to be delivered but I am extremely unhappy about how this whole order has been handled. Helen was very helpful this morning in getting to the bottom of where the shed in fact was which was at Romeoville because I had been told earlier that it was in Strongsville Ohio. All I want is my shed and some honest tracking data from Wayfair because whats in this order tracking is 90 garbage. All I want is my shed delivered and it better be in good condition or its going back. Thats all I have to say other than I will think long and hard before I buy anything from Wayfair again. This has been a disaster.. Stephen. US. Fri Dec 20 2024
