The stool bases are pretty heavy and feel sturdy. The packaging was horrible but they don't look to be damaged. We haven't assembled these yet so I can't speak to the ease of that. They're definitely the exact style and color I was looking for - a polished gold finish with a black seat cushion. They will match perfectly with our newly remodeled black/white/gold kitchen. Though this will be the last large item I purchase from Wayfair. The box they came in said they were white which leads me to believe it wasn't the original box, that the chairs were repackaged in a previously used box. I can't imagine how else the box would be this busted up while the chairs were fine.. Courtney. Forest Park, IL. Wed Jul 11 2018

Monobloc stool without armrest, with a harmoniously sculptural, timeless design.

I love that I was able to match these to my dining chairs.. Martha. Astoria Or. Wed Oct 01 2025

Absolutely beautiful and comfortable!. Jon. US. Wed Aug 09 2023

An upholstered seat and back work the curves and overlap just to create a chair that invites you to sit down and stay awhile. The channel stitch detail may not improve the aerodynamics but it sure looks swell with a color-coordinated powder-coated steel sled base.

Very Comfortable and generously sized seat. My client is on the shorter side but says that it hits his back at a very comfortable space and the foot rest is at the perfect place as well. Alisha. US. Fri Jul 31 2026

This upholstered bar stool pairs a clean silhouette with mid-century modern vibes for a smart addition to your space. It's crafted with a solid and engineered wood seat frame, and it rests on four slender metal legs that elevate the design. It’s nice looking in a medium blue. Well constructed and sturdy leather. A very comfortable counter height chair.. Berlyn. HI. Fri Sep 25 2026

Because counters should never have to play second fiddle to tables, we offer the stool. Enjoy.

I love the chairs, but the packaging was not great. I’m not sure if it’s Wayfair or BluDot’s issue, but there are small scuffs on one of the chair’s wood. They’re not big enough to bother returning, but it is disappointing spending so much and getting slightly damaged items.. Danielle. Santa Clara, CA. Wed Dec 06 2023

Excellent quality counter stools - lightweight, sturdy and easy to assemble. I wish they came with more options for seat height like other stools. These are 26 inches tall from floor to seat; I would have preferred 24 inches height.. Pepa. Redmond, WA. Sun Jun 07 2026

Some objects maintain their form almost unchanged over time, and design’s role is to interpret and refine their archetype. This holds true for everyday items that are so frequently used that their shape becomes self-evident: a fork, a plate, a chair. Their form reflects their function, and their aesthetics must never be compromised. This principle has always guided our design approach—creating flowing designs directly inspired by natural ergonomics.Ta, a monosyllabic word as simple as a child’s first utterance in Chinese, means ‘him’ or ‘her.’ It signifies human identity, irrespective of gender, universal and inclusive. A chair, indeed, is a distinctly human object, molded to serve its purpose. It follows the contours of the body, whether for dining or working at a table. It offers a resting position, suspended between wakefulness and slumber, a place to pause or enjoy the company of others. With Ta, we aim to provide an elegantly simple response to the need for both ergonomics and aesthetics.Ta’s design draws inspiration from the style of the 1950s but infuses it with a contemporary touch—honest and democratic design, made possible through an advanced yet relatively straightforward construction technique. It offers a wide array of solutions, with its strength lying in its flexibility. Three solid, flowing, and sinuous shells can be paired with five curved metal tubular bases featuring wooden elements, each characterized by essential design. The color palette reflects contemporary preferences, and the option to add seat pads to the shells allows for numerous customized combinations.

These chairs were delivered quickly on the day that was promised when we placed the order. They were easy to assemble. They are light yet sturdy and very comfortable. We love the blue color in our mostly white kitchen.. Bi. Vero Beach, FL. Sun Feb 02 2025
