I’m pleased with this purchase. It was a bit challenging to assemble on my own since I have short arms and the front and back of the unit are preinstalled. But the solid word portion is good quality and I’m pleased the cherry color is a close match to my other furniture. This is exactly what we were looking for. I was looking for a cabinet that was a bit taller and with some storage space. The doors have slats so you can see some of whats stored there. If that would bother you then this isnt for you. However i imagine you could use a remote without opening the doors. I was able to fit dvds, games ans a dvd player in there.
