Because the porch we have it on is just a eating section that needs a smaller table most of the time. It will need to be on a covered porch to keep it nice. Overall I’m happy with this purchase HOWEVER what the photos don’t show is that the 8 chairs do not push in. It can’t actually comfortably fit more than 6 chairs even extended.
