Beautiful cabinet! Very solid piece and looks more costly than it is. Well worth the 8 hours it took to put together. :) We added it to a spare bedroom used as a workout room/reading room. It has plentiful storage for hiding and organizing things you don't want out in the open, while still having a nice space to display those miscellaneous collectibles one acquires on trips abroad. The light feature has 2 different temperatures (cool/warm) which elevate the entire piece. We store our board/card games in the cabinetry/drawers as well as craft supplies, small photoshoot props, office supplies, etc. The height is impressive! I haven't styled the glass shelves yet. These are nice storage cabinets. It took about 8 hours to assemble two units. We put 2 of these cabinets in a nook in a bedroom. They fit perfectly Instructions were clear and helpful. The shelves are stationery but will hold many things. We like the added glass doors at the top, which make it a little nicer in appearance. I gave 4 stars because 1 of the tall doors came with only 2 holes bored for the hinges. So we had to wait for it to be replaced before we could finish. Wayfair is very fast to respond to damage or parts issue and they worked with the manufacturer to get the door replaced in just a few days! It did take 2 people to place the top of the unit onto the bottom half safely. This is a very nice piece and went together very well. These bookshelves look amazing in my craftroom. We purchased 3 of them, each one took my husband approximately 3 hours to put together. He then used his own hardware to secure them together to make it look like one large unit. The doors all open well, the shelving seems sturdy enough for my supplies. I only purchased these because of the huge discount, you get what you pay for. If you are looking for “built in craftsmanship,” this option is not for you. What seemed to be a promising purchase turned into a disaster. First, having paid the extra for assembly, the wayfair professional or lack there of told me that the brackets were incorrectly drilled. He could not get them to fit. After browsing at the brackets, I could tell they were threaded which means the would go underneath the metal frame, not on top. He bent the frame edges by trying to force them on the top and could not get them to screw in, imagine that. This was the assembly of the smaller of the two cabinets which took him 6 hours. On top of that, a backing piece was missing from the package. He promptly left at 6 and told me he was only paid to assemble one piece. Note, after his completion, none of the doors pop open as they are supposed to. He clearly did not check his work or care about it. After dealing with wayfair over a refund of assembly fee. I decided to tackle the larger component myself. Upon building the item, I noticed that item 16 and 17 were swapped in the directions. As well, extremely poor quality backing/sticky tape on the LED strip, as most didn't stick at all. On top of very poor, rubber secure brackets that do not actually hold the lighting tight. In addition, package I was 13 screws short. What is also irritating is the fact the two pieces, which look like one in the description are independent of one another, By this design, the lighting package is cumbersome and comes out in the middle of the unit rather than being centrally located and sharing one control panel. I now know why you go to wayfair for cheap things and not that of quality. While i have had some good purchases in the past, this was clearly not a winner.. Tom. Tue Aug 18 2026

I really like this bookcase! It looks great, feels sturdy, and was very easy to assemble. The instructions were clear, and putting everything together was quick and straightforward. My only complaint is that it doesn’t come with covers or caps to hide the visible screws, which would make the bookcase look much more finished and polished. The big negative for me was that the base units were felt solid - made of a heavier duty press board but the bookshelves were made of a much less sturdy particle board. It won’t hold much weight.
